ICN in College Park, MD.

In August 2012, Ohad organized and chaired (with Hermann Wagner from RWTH Aachen) a symposium on animal visual search in the International Conference on Neuroethology held in College Park, MD. Not the typical conference for computer scientists, or even computer vision scientists, we were definitely quite unique guests in this events, which emphasizes once again the unique role our lab takes in the vision sciences realm in general. This also turned out to be quite a lovely event to participate in. A relaticely small community which still struggles to define itself, the research and findings reported at ICM are easily comprehensible by most (of course, up to jargon and methodologies). Being there was almost a week long hurney in front if the National Geographic channel. Needless to say that Visiting Washington DC was a nice perk.
